Clearing Womb Trauma – Part 1


Hey, Juju Mama! If you're here, chances are you're feeling the weight of womb trauma, and let me tell you, I’ve been there. Whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual struggles that just seem to stick around, you are not alone. Many of us have faced these same battles. But here’s the good news: there are ways to clear that trauma and get your womb back in balance.


In this two-part blog series, we’re going to dive into five essential steps to heal your womb, using a holistic, metaphysical, and trauma-informed approach. And don’t worry, I’ll keep it real, honest, and empathetic—just like we’re chatting over tea. Let’s get into it!


Step One: Acknowledge the Trauma


Okay, this is where we start by keeping it 100. Acknowledging the trauma in your womb is the first and hardest step, but trust me, it’s so necessary. We’ve all been conditioned to push through pain, to be strong and keep moving—but that trauma is still there. It’s okay to pause and actually feel it. Whether it's past heartbreak, loss, or stress, it lives in your body.


Take a deep breath, close your eyes, and tune into your body. What are you feeling? Is there tension, pain, or discomfort? Let yourself feel all the emotions without judgment. Acknowledge them. This process isn’t easy, but you deserve this moment to see your pain for what it is. You’re strong enough to face it, and that’s how healing starts.


Step Two: Release the Trauma

Now that we’ve acknowledged it, it's time to release it. And I mean release that sh*t, juju mama! This isn’t about quick fixes; this is about finding what works for you. For some, journaling does the trick. For others, it's meditation, therapy, or even primal screams into a pillow (trust me, it helps!). Whatever method resonates with you, take it and run with it.


The goal is to create space in your body and spirit for healing. Trauma loves to hold on tight, but the more you practice letting it go, the lighter you’ll feel. Be patient with yourself. This is not an overnight thing, but bit by bit, that weight will lift. You deserve to be free from it.


Step Three: Reconnect with Your Womb

Once you’ve acknowledged and started releasing your trauma, it’s time to reconnect with the beautiful, powerful energy of your womb. Now, I’m talking about tapping into your divine feminine energy and feeling the flow of life through you.


Try some womb massage, gentle yoga stretches, or even just being out in nature—barefoot in the grass, feeling the earth under you. This is about nurturing the relationship with your womb, giving her the love and attention she needs. After all, this is the seat of your creativity, your intuition, and your deepest inner wisdom. Let her speak to you.
